American Gold Eagle Series The American Gold Eagle
series, authorized by the Gold Bullion Coin Act of 1985 and introduced
in 1986, is the official gold bullion coin of the United States. These
coins are minted in various sizes and denominations, including 1 oz, 1/2
oz, 1/4 oz, and 1/10 oz, each containing its stated weight in troy
ounces of pure gold. The coins’ .9167 fineness makes them slightly

2025 1/10 oz American Gold Eagle Design
The
obverse of the coin features the iconic design by Augustus
