2021 P American Innovation New York - Erie Canal $1 Coin - Roll of 25 Dollar Coins

• The United States Mint American Innovation $1 Coin Program is a
  multi-year series honoring innovation and innovators with $1 coins from
  each State, District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Guam, American Samoa,
  U.S. Virgin Islands, and Northern Mariana Islands.
• The obverse design features a dramatic representation of the Statue
  of Liberty in profile with the inscriptions “IN GOD WE TRUST” and “$1.”
• The American Innovation $1 Coin representing New York pays homage to the
  Erie Canal. Completed in 1825, the 363-mile long, man-made waterway
  connected Lake Erie in the West to the Hudson River in the East.
  Considered an engineering marvel of its day, the canal unlocked the
  western interior for trade and settlement, and played a critical role in
  the development of the state as well as the Nation.
