2023 - P and D Maria Tallchief, American Women Quarter Series 2 Coin

• You will receive a Two Quarters one from each mint.
• P Mint is Philadelphia Mint.
• D Mint is Denver Mint.
• The Fifth 2023 Quarter in the American Women Quarter Program will feature Maria Tallchief.

• The coin’s reverse depicts Maria Tallchief spotlit in balletic pose, and
  her Osage name, which translates to “Two Standards,” written in Osage
  orthography. Additional inscriptions are “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,” “E
  PLURIBUS UNUM,” “QUARTER DOLLAR,” and “MARIA TALLCHIEF.”

• The obverse depicts a portrait of George Washington, originally
  composed and sculpted by Laura Gardin Fraser to mark George Washington’s
  200th birthday. A recommended design for the 1932 quarter,
  then-Treasury Secretary Mellon ultimately selected the familiar John
  Flannigan design.
• This will be the 10th
  quarter released as part of the United States Mint American Women Quarter Program.
